Tardis Bookmark

Inspired by my recent Doctor Who addiction and Artisan Craft's Creative Craft Challenge for August. I've made the beaded bookmarks with the metal pieces as well as ones done on wire before and I find that the flat stitched ones just stay in the book better. Done in square stitch because I couldn't for the life of me figure out a decent peyote pattern for the Tardis.

I realized that, in all my years of beading and making bracelets and bookmarks for other people, I hadn't actually made one for myself, so this one is all for me. You can't see it in this photo, but there's a tassel on the end that hangs off the edge of the book.

I am aware that the Tardis is all one colour, but those squares were a detail that I wanted to keep in, hence the two colours. They're just as hard to differentiate between in real life as they are here, but this photo shows the difference off the best of every one I took.
